The young trombonist and singer Rita Payés is one of the emerging talents of the Sant Andreu Jazz Band, pedrera has given us some of the most promising musicians of our jazz scene, such as Andrea Motis . At the Goya 2022 he starred in one of the most outstanding moments of the ceremony with his interpretation of the theme “Te venero” with C. Tangana.

In addition to a unique voice, Rita Payés shines especially when playing her inseparable trombone, an instrument of which she is a virtuoso. The young woman from Barcelona has a brilliant career working with names such as Joan Chamorro, Ignasi Terraza or Esteve Pi. He has also offered duo concerts with his mother, Elisabeth Roma.

Xavi Torres is one of the most prominent jazz musicians on the European jazz scene. Composer and pianist, his training in classical music and jazz at the Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya and the Amsterdam Conservatory gives him a mastery of the instrument and a versatility in the language with which he has excelled in competitions  like the Keep An Eye International Jazz Award or the Thelonious Monk Jazz Piano Competition.
